i'm thinking of joining the theatre club, but i was wondering about the free tickets that come up as part of the preview tasters and seat-filling scheme. are they for west end shows, usually? or not at all? for good fringe or for crap fringe (brockley jack and the like - if there's someone connected to the brockley jack on here, i apologise profusely)?
thanks

You mean schemes like Play by Play and Audience Club? There have been a few threads about both, if you want to do a search.
It's mostly fringe, but you do get a few West End shows a month. Usually plays rather than musicals. Audience Club also has a lot of classical music and occasionally opera and ballet.
Why not join and see for yourself. Even if you only see 2-3 shows a year through them, it's still worth the membership fee. I average 1-3 plays a month.
