Aware that 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life' is regularly played at Funerals - and I know that many songs bring back very happy memories for me so I just wondered; what songs evoke memories for other people?

For instance; I was an Independent Custody Visitor for the our local Police Authorities and before I went into the cells to visit some people who had committed terrible crimes (and are rightfully shunned by many in society) I used to listen to 'Petrified' - from 'Taboo' - sung by the incredible Paul Baker.

The lyrics reminded me that; "Don't you know I'm just a lot like you, I need all the Godly things that you do" when I was facing these poor souls.

It made me appreciate “There, for the grace of God, go I” and every time I hear it, it still reminds me of people I met on the very fringes of society who found themselves in horrendous situations, due to the path they find themselves on.

I'd be most interested to hear about what song evokes a memory for you - be it happy or sad.

In my opinion anyone interested in improving himself should not rule out becoming pure energy.

Well, I've been hesitating about posting this, because it really is very cheesy and slightly pathetic, buuut... well, y'know how when you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend, sometimes a certain song comes to be really meaningful to you guys in that particular relationship? Well, my ex and I went to New York, we saw Wicked, and I will ALWAYS associate 'As Long As You're Mine' with the relationship we had. I'm sorry I have nothing more profound. XD
