LEGALLY BLONDE

May I just say how scaled down the production looked compared to the Broadway production! Anyway, the set is great still. I felt that the vocals in general just isn't as good as any of the US cast, but the London certainly has alot more personality!

Sheridan really is the star as Elle! She's never offstage I think and sings nearly every song! She's very funny and has a good singing voice! What can I say more apart from praise her??

Alex Gaumond... wow! How very cute and what a voice! I had to youtube search immediately after the show! I really liked him as Emmett!

Duncan was average. Not very good, not bad either.

Jill as Paulette, I liked her acting and her protrayal but I really miss miss missssss Orfeh's crazy belts during Bend & Snap! I enjoyed her tho ~

Aoife was a shock! I saw her Maria and loved her and WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! Just wow.

Overall I really enjoyed the show, its fun and light and doesn't take itself too seriously! It's a great night out and the atmosphere's amazing! And they are sooo nice at the autograph queue! Signing everyone's autograph with their names and taking photos! So here's my little drawing of Sheridan as Elle:

THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED

I had no idea what to expect apart from the fact it had great reviews in NYC and looked a great cast! What a treat! The play is funny and I personally find it very dark. It's not just another gay play. It is so much more, it has so much humour and heart I feel.

Tasmin's Diane stole the show! I have always wanted to see her onstage and now I have... what a treat! She was FIERCE and very cruel as Diane!

Rupert is not just a pretty face, he can act quite well too! I have enjoyed him in Young Victoria so why shouldn't I enjoy his performance onstage?? And being ONLY in his boxers does help ALOT!

Harry is another actor that stole the show for me and not only because he showed his bum! His character is so innocent and brave and strong it's hard to dislike him. And seeing him make out with Rupert is bliss and the entire audience gasped when Rupert pulled down his boxers!

Gemma is very underused here. Her character really is just a supportive role for the other 3. I liked her but really did not care for her character!

Not alot of people were waiting (surprisingly!) and the cast are sooo nice signing and taking pictures as well! So here's a full company drawing I did... not quite sure if I like it or not, but oh well:

i disagree with you about Duncan being average! I thought he was fantastic as warner and so much hotter than the guy on Broadway!
Sheridan was heaps better than LLB but her vocals are not as strong and Jill halfpenny was OK as paulette but how can anyone be as good as Orfey!

I prefered emmett on Broadway to the London one but his voice was very nice and gentle.

All in all a GREAT show over here and i infact loved the American version so am shocked i prefer the London cast overall!

5 stars!! *****

Your drawing of Sheridan as Elle is very cute! I gave the show 3 and a half stars, but I didn't see the Broadway production, so have nothing to compare it to.
