Dear WOSers,
Please may I plug our production next week of LSOH at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon, next Wednesday to Saturday at 8pm, with a matinee on the Saturday at 3pm.
I'm actually rather proud of the whole thing, but we're still coming up a bit short on ticket sales.
Anyway, there are several reasons you may want to come.
1 It's a great show, with a really good amateur cast. I think we've got an excellent Seymour and Audrey. They're an accountant and a doctor respectively in real life.
2 If you liked Parade at the Bridewell, we've got the chap who sang that "That's What He Said" as the Voice Of The Plant. He's really good.
3 We've had someone who I consider to be the most inspirational, rigorous (and fun!) musical director I think I've worked with. He managed to squeeze us in, between MD-ing A Christmas Carol at the King's Head, AMD-ing the one-off 48 hour Crazy For You at the Palladium and playing in the band for Grim Tales at the Library Theatre in Manchester.
4 Also directed by the best director I think I've worked with since I moved to Croydon. Incidentally, he's playing King Herod in JCS at the Minack in Cornwall in the summer.
5.
Special offer available on tickets for Wednesday and Thursday nights. By phone (0208 688 9291) or in person, quote "handout offer", and you can get what would have been £17.50 tickets for £12 (plus booking fee). That offer is not available online, but you can still book for Friday and Saturday performances at
the Fairfield Halls website.
6. The plant is very good.
7. Mushnik is played by, er, me. There is liable to be some humorous dancing.
