We are looking for a costume designer for its next production, Stephen Sondheim's ANYONE CAN WHISTLE. It's a serious, grown-up musical which we're going to re-set in mid-20th century Europe.
We're looking for a costume designer with
- good training and a solid track record
- a love of research and detail
- real practicality and organisational flair
- the ability to recruit volunteer costume makers
- the contacts to get high standard costumes for low prices
- a really collaborative, creative spirit.
Rehearsals 8 Feb for four weeks.
Plays 10 March - 17 April.
We are known for our high standards of casting and production values (Sondheim's SATURDAY NIGHT was a Time Out Critic's Choice and transferred to the West End), but we are also an unfunded company so the fee is small and the budget is sufficient but tight.
If you are interested, please send a covering email explaining why the project appeals to you, and a CV to us.
