Let me urge you to see this. I saw this in Edinburgh and it was a highlight of the Festival. It is funny, moving and very imaginative. Linda Marlowe transforms from young to old, comic to menacing..it is excellent.
In case you don't know what it is about : Carol Ann Duffy has written a series of poems which are written from the point of view of famous people's wives - King Midas's wife, Freud's wife, quite a few figures from mythology, Shakespeare's wife..all women who surprise us with their take on things and their husbands....and Linda Marlowe acts them like monologues with a few props, some lighting and minimal effects. Go.

Saw this tonight. Linda Marlowe does all the voices as we say and interprets the poems so well. It is on for three more weeks so do go if you like Duffy's poems, Linda Marlowe's work, a short entertainment [ it lasts just over an hour] or just quality theatre.

I thought this was a thrilling bit of theatre.  Linda Marlowe does accents so brilliantly.  The tiny space is a bit intimidating, but the performance was electric.  I loved Ms Freud best, very funny.
