Anyone else see this? The line-up looks incredible already and it's only November - Kerry Ellis, Adam Pascal and Philip Quast! I saw Kerry and Adam in Chess last year and both were amazing, and Quast was fantastic as Javert. The show list looks really good as well - can't wait to see what they do with We Will Rock You and 1000 voices :-D

Not only is the cast list sounding great this early in the proceedings, but the tickets are selling extremely quickly too!
The best of times is now,
Now, not some forgotten yesterday.
Now, tomorrow is too far away

Not strictly true. If you call the Royal Albert Hall, they will explain that the charity, running this event, have hired the hall for the evening and, in doing so, have appeared to have snaffled hundreds of the best seats. At no time did the hall have those seats to sell.
All very charitable, in my opinion.

If only Leukaemia Research could make money for every single unnecessary comma in this post... tongue.gif

It appears that you don't know for sure whether these "snaffled" seats are being used in some other way to raise money - and if a charity is organising the whole evening and has hired the venue then surely it is their perogative? After all the idea isn't to be charitable to snidey so-and-so's like the above poster, it's to raise money for said charity!

And if they could only make money on every single, rude and not very grammatical post that contained one of those stupid smiley faces.

I hope they make a fortune on the evening, but I still think it unfair that they appear to open the booking to the public, with the best seats being retained by them. That's their perogative, but it is also mine to comment that the general public is not being given a chance to purchase those seats, albeit at a higher price.
