Just been looking at up coming shows and I saw a show listing on here for 'Parade' at the Bridewell in a few weeks time 25th Nov. Anyone been to the Bridewell theatre?

Its only on for a couple of weeks as well? I love 'Parade' but hadn't heard anything about it coming back, does anybody know anything about the company who are putting it on, SEDOS?

Firstly, thank you for drawing my attention to this production.

Secondly, SEDOS is an amateur company www.sedos.co.uk which had you taken time to google you could have found the information for yourself

Thanks for that, I will have a proper look at their website. Sorry for being a bit lazy, I was mainly asking about whether anyone had seen any of their previous productions and if they were any good?

I confess to be a little disappointed by BJJKIL's somewhat snooty (and ungrammatical) response. If you can be bothered to reply, why be bothered to be nasty ?

I have now had a look at SEDOS's website, and the Bridewell's website and they seem to have done a lot athe Bridewell Theatre.

The theatre looks quite intimate, has anyone seen any other productions there? Do you think this will be a good venue for Parade?

Sedos - I think - are a city of London company who attract a lot of ex professionals so there stuff is always worth checking out. I've seen them do Grand Hotel, My Favourite Year and Wild Party in the past and they were all of a very high standard.

I love Parade and will definitely try and get to see this.

The membership of SEDOS mainly seems to be made up of city lawyers in their twenties, as far as I can tell - probably not getting enough of a performance in the courtroom tongue.gif . I saw them do Rent towards the end of last year, and it was fairly good.

I know, vaguely, a couple of people that were in a couple of SEDOS's other shows. In fact, I think one of them might be in Parade.
I wouldn't say a word that could be reckoned as injurious,
But to find a mother younger than her son is very curious,
And that's the kind of mother that is usually spurious.

The Bridewell could be a nice venue if the owners spent any money on it. But, as it is.....

Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to give it a go as the tickets are only £15.

Also, I thought I'd do a bit more research on the case Parade is based on aswell, and I came across this yesterday, with a new documentary on US TV last night. This is the story from CNN website, its quite fascinating

After reading the story, I went home and listened to the soundtrack again. It makes the music even more powerful.

Really looking forward to seeing this production now. smile.gif

Had a look at the cast list for this production, and there seems to be a couple of names I recognise, Pippa Lloyd and William Hazell, but can't think where from. Does anyone know anyone in the cast?
