About This Show

Far below the ground, deep down under this earth we walk on, are unheard voices. Echoes from the past. They crave to see the light and to march to the beat of their drum. Can you hear them rising to the surface? Forensic Anthropology became a science of resistance in the struggle to find disappeared people during dictatorship in Latin America. Through analyses of injuries to bones, the science led a revolution in how human rights were investigated. On this vivid visual and sonorous journey, we unearth some of these stories; the stories of people who dared to resist.
