Kat and Phoebe are 2 sisters trying to make ends meet, whilst Kat works at a pay day loan company trying to work her way out of poverty with the money she makes from this predatory business, her dyspraxic sister Phoebe stays at home experimenting with alchemy the secret science of turning metal into gold. When Phoebe’s experiment finally works their world is turned upside down.
