In this personal and irreverent one-man show Dunstan Bruce, ex-frontman of the chart-topping band Chumbawamba, takes the audience on an existential voyage told through poetry, prose, music and projections. Feeling increasingly invisible, impotent and apoplectic in today’s world, wondering if we are all going to hell in a handcart, Dunstan gives us a piece of performance poetry and physical theatre that rages and ranges across angst and despair, comedy and delight, middle-aged disillusion and dissolution. Fuelled with a whisky drink, a vodka drink, a cider drink and a lager drink and with a love for the new generation of artists and activists, maybe, just maybe if we do the things we’re most afraid of, perhaps we can all still get back up again!
