Celia Imrie is one of the most well-known faces of British comedy having appeared in hit movies Bridget Jones’s Diary, Calendar Girls, Nanny McPhee, Absolutely Fabulous, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, St Trinian’s and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. Her television career is just as illustrious with credits including Doctor Who, Lewis, Cranford, Absolutely Fabulous and of course a long association with Victoria Wood, including starring in Dinnerladies and Acorn Antiques. On stage she has starred in a variety of hit shows including King Lear, Noises Off and Hay Fever as well as reprising her Acorn Antiques role in the musical adaptation, going on to win an Olivier Award for her performance.
