An Introduction to Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Join Perth Theatre’s artistic director Lu Kemp in exploring Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in its original form, and in a new Scots version by Scotland’s former Makar Liz Lochhead. The week will be dedicated to exploring the history and staging of Shakespeare’s text and how a new Scots version might be staged. The course is suitable for professional and non-professional actors. It will be a fun, rigorous exploration of acting technique held in Perth Theatre’s own rehearsal room.
