About This Show
‘Airfish’ Circus started out as a collective of aerial circus performers, privileged and happy to be based in Cornwall. An enthusiastic and positive mix of pro, semi-pro circus performers, and enthusiastic amateurs, all supportive and encouraging of each other, with a passion for circus.
“As the sun dies and the Hunter’s Moon rises over St Michael’s Mount, Airfish Circus awaken in the vaults of the Acorn Theatre to bring you their very first ‘Fright Night”! Resurrecting the vampire theme from classic Victoriana, through Film Noir to bloodthirsty Americana. ‘DawnTo Dusk’ brings. a unique grown-up night of variety vaudevillian vampirism, with circus, including daring acrobatic skills in the air, on some arcane and innovative apparatus, cabaret and burlesque. 50 percent of this show’s proceeds will go to CdC’s ‘Helping Hand’ Fundraising Campaign, to help them continue their provisions, meet the increasing needs upon them, and find a new home.
