About This Show

The intrepid women’s company Komola Collective bring three of Rabindranath Tagore’s best-known female characters to life: Debjani, Charulata, and Nandini. Nobel Laureate Tagore writes in a way that is both epic and relatable. From the inhabitants of the Underworld to those of a dystopian future, these women experience love and loss and must make sacrifices, questioning what it means to be women in a man’s world.
