Live Drafts

Twenty artists share a new idea over two weeks. Maybe it’s the first time it’s ever been performed in front of an audience. Maybe it’s a third draft. Maybe bits don’t work yet. Maybe it’s extraordinary. Live Drafts is about seeing the beginnings of shows before they’re fully developed, and seeing what a show can look like before it becomes a show. Last year’s First Drafts festival saw the very first outing of Company Three’s The Act and the transformation tale A New And Better You – full-length shows that you can now see in our current season.
