Christian Scott

Descending from a long line of New Orleans’ trumpet players, and mentored by his uncle Donald Harrison Jr (alumnus of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers), Christian Scott brings an exciting new sound and approach to jazz. His international recording debut, Rewind That was called ‘arguably the most remarkable premiere the genre has seen in the last decade’ by Billboard Magazine, and since 2002 he has released seven critically acclaimed studio recordings and two live albums.
