International superstar Adam Lambert announces his brand new album Velvet, to be released 20th March. Today also sees the release of new song ‘Roses’ featuring Nile Rodgers, which arrives following previous single ‘Superpower’ and the highly anticipated release of EP Velvet: Side A. Featuring on the upcoming album Velvet, ‘Roses’ was written by Adam Lambert, Fred Ball, Kes Kross and produced by Fred Ball. The song is a high-groove, pop-soul track, timeless in its melody with Adam’s sultry vocal and a classic 70s funk edge assisted by disco pioneer and music legend Nile Rodgers.
Adam will tour the new album across Europe with The Velvet Tour, commencing in Manchester, UK on 30th August for the Manchester Pride festival, before playing The SSE Arena, Wembley and making his way across Europe concluding in Helsinki on 12th September.
Prior to his solo tour, this Summer Adam will embark on the European leg of The Rhapsody Tour with Queen (Queen + Adam Lambert). The huge run of dates will include ten shows at London’s O2 Arena, stopping across the continent with shows in Italy, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands and Spain.
