A Midsummer Night’s Dream

A dark forest, four human lovers and wicked fairies unite in a whole heap of mix-ups in one of Shakespeare’s most well loved comedies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. As guests gather to celebrate a wedding in Greece, menacing and disturbing creatures, who lurk in the Forest of Arden, take amusement in meddling in young lover’s affections. Nothing is what it seems as otherworldly forces conjure their own entertainment from watching the distraught humans try to find true love. This unique adaptation will be presented by students from primary and secondary schools across Nottinghamshire and feature a cast of over 200 young people.
