Las Maravillas de Mali

The band, who defined the term ?world music’ when they formed in the 1960s, come together on stage in the UK for the very first time on this tour. They are known for their effortless mix of Malian sounds and Cuban rhythms and their song ?Rendez-vous chez Fatimata’ became one of the greatest hits of the revolutionary era in Africa. The band are joined on vocals by Guinean vocalist Mory Kante.
