Fodens Band

The origins of Fodens (Coutois) Band stretch back to 1900 and the Boer War, when it was formed in the village of Elworth to mark the relief of Mafeking. Since then the Band has enjoyed an illustrious career, achieving champion status in 1908, a position it has since maintained.
