SAS Soldiers and Singers

Soldiers and Singers, September 15th 2022 willbe opened and closed by uplifting performances by the Cardiff Military Wives Choir Caerdydd followed by SAS veteran Robin Horsfall who presents a one-hour rendition of his amazing life as a special forces soldier, bodyguard, martial arts expert, TV pundit and author. He will relate how he joined the army at the age of fifteen, laid on a bomb in Northern Ireland, his suicide mission in the Falklands War and most famously his part in Operation Nimrod the famous raid on the Iranian Embassy in London in 1980 that saved nineteen hostages from certain death. The event is to raise money for Newport Veterans Hub.
