About the Show

Set in Glasgow in the 1950’s one Hogmanay, a time of year filled with sentimental associations for every Scot. Celebrating the lives of four women who slave away the hours in a busy wash-house – the ‘steamie’ of the title.

This brand-new amateur production by The Brunton in association with David Ross and Tommie Travers promises to bring an evening packed full of nostalgia, laughter, and heart.
