About This Show

Lemn Sissay’s work has appeared on TV, in books and on the pavements and buildings of Manchester. He has travelled all over the world to read his poetry and has toured virtually every city in the UK.

Lemn Sissay was 17 when he wrote his first poetry book, which he hand-sold to the miners and millworkers of Wigan. Since then his poems have become landmarks, sculpted in granite and built from concrete, recorded on eradefining albums and declaimed in over 30 countries. He is now one of the nation’s best-loved voices. After his sell-out tour of Something Dark in 2017, Lemn Sissay returns to HOME to read poems from his latest collection Gold from the Stone.
