When Bat for Lashes (a.k.a. Natasha Khan) was nominated for the 2007 Mercury prize for her genrebending debut Fur and Gold, a new cult pop phenomenon was born. Since then she’s toured with Radiohead, become a bona fide fashion icon, stolen the show at Glastonbury, and collaborated with Scott Walker, no less, on her ‘extraordinary’ (Sunday Times), ‘intoxicating’ (Q), ‘sensationally assured’ (The Times) sophomore release Two Suns.
