About the Show

The Red Army Choir Alexandrov returns to London for a very special concert at The London Palladium. Having celebrated 90 years since their formation last year, the historic and culturally significant group will take to the stage performing their stunning, unique pieces that have seen them revered for nearly a century.

Created in 1928 with 12 members, the group now contains nearly 350 artists. Their dramatic live show features not only an incredible ensemble of singers but also an incomparable orchestra as well as stunning ballet dancers. The most famous military choir in the world, the Red Army Choir perform a diverse repertoire every show, from operatic arias, popular music, and also more traditional Russian folk songs and hymns, establishing themselves as an important and iconic cultural export unlike anything else – in Russia or beyond.

Named after Alexander Alexandrov, the Choir’s founder who also wrote the current Russian National Anthem, The Red Army Choir Alexandrov have toured extensively worldwide ever since then performing in several different languages to millions of people.
