23rd Annual WhatsOnStage Awards

The WhatsOnStage Awards are the only major theatre awards nominated and voted for by the public. Each year thousands of theatregoers up and down the country decide their favourite performers and shows across a range of categories.

Join this year’s hosts Courtney Bowman (Legally Blonde, Pretty Woman: The Musical), Laurie Kynaston (Spring Awakening, The Son) and Billy Luke Nevers (& Juliet, Legally Blonde) for a star-studded ceremony at the Prince of Wales Theatre on Sunday 12 February 2023.

The first half will look back on the best of 2022, with special performances from Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, Billy Elliot the Musical, My Fair Lady and Bonnie & Clyde The Musical. The concert will also open with a specially composed number by Alex Parker and Katie Lam, featuring choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille (Six, Antigone) and performed by the hosts.

Later in the evening, there will be a number from The Great British Bake Off Musical, plus some surprises to whet the appetite for what’s to come in 2023. Details for the second part of the ceremony are being kept strictly under wraps, so you’ll have to be there on the night to find out what we’ve got in store!
