Swsaranjali – Finest Sounds of Indian Choir

Hear two of the UK’s first Indian choirs, Bharatiya Vrund Gaan and SHIVA, perform raga-based tarana, Vedic chants and popular Indian songs. Led by Artistic Director Rakesh Joshi, the two choirs have performed at high-profile venues in the UK and India. Choir members are selected through formal auditions from locations across England. For this concert, the choirs present authentic songs of India including raga-based tarana, Vedic chants and hymns and popular songs by well-known Indian poets and composers.
