A laboratory of government scientists – under extreme pressure from their funding benefactors – are desperately trying to cure the ravages of old age, when a clumsy mishap causes a terrible explosion and triggers a lab shutdown. Gerald, the Director of the Institute, is caught behind the safety glass and, overcome by fumes, ultimately pronounced dead at the scene. But is he? Zombies: The Musical is an irreverent, comedic tale of two star-crossed would-be lovers, desperately searching for each other even in death.
