La Sombra Del Tenorio (The Shadow of the Tenorio)

The time has come for Saturnino Morales, a typical supporting actor, who is ill with tuberculosis and confined to a hospital for the poor. He is preparing for the moment when “the curtain will fall on his life”, yet he does not want to say goodbye to the world without playing his dream character: Don Juan Tenorio. He, who always played the servant, the joker…, the eternal secondary character both in real life and on stage, wants “in this last hour of his life” and, with the help of an imaginary audience that listens to him and watches him from the darkness: to get on the bill, to be, even if only for once in his life, the protagonist, the leading actor: DON JUAN TENORIO.
