Festival of Comedy

Waterloo East Theatre has teamed up with comedy historian Robert Ross to present a month long festival celebrating the best of British comedy old and new. There will be staged performances of plays Screaming Queens, Jeepers Creepers and Being Sellers, as well as a brand new comedy play Kitty Rats. We will celebrate some long lost hidden comedy treasures as Robert Ross looks back at the Carry On years in Oh What A Carry On, as well as remembering some of the forgotten comedy heroes from his book Forgotten Heroes of Comedy.
