The Courage Of Others is the third album from Texan indie rockers, Midlake. Following 2006’s The Trials Of Van Occupanther, the band continue their guitar experimentation, which has seen them compared with the likes of Radiohead and Grandaddy. Tim Smiths vocals are as affecting and sincere as Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright, adding to the atmosphere and depth provided by some of the best musicianship you’ll find in any band on the indie circuit.
