Courageous and considered, Wrongheaded is a finely crafted dance performance. Part film, part text, part live performance, it delves into ideas and experiences around physical identity and body politics. Venting anger, frustration and gentle hope, Elaine Feeney’s poetic text underscores the piece, with film work by Mary Wycherley. Liz Roche is one of Ireland’s leading dance practitioners. Her company recently made Totems for the reopening of the National Gallery of Ireland and is Dublin Dance Festival’s company in residence.
