United Strings of Europe – Renewal: Music Refashioned for String Orchestra

The United Strings of Europe give a rare performance of Richard Strauss’s towering masterpiece Metamorphosen for 23 musicians. The programme also includes; renowned soprano Ruby Hughes with Osvaldo Golijov’s Three Songs for Soprano, and the London premiere of Daniel Kidane’s Be Still for strings and crotales, composed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
