Spanning the decades, from Bindon’s early years in Fulham, to his big acting break following a meeting in a Chelsea pub with young film director, Ken Loach in the 1960s, it was Bindon’s real-life charm combined with ‘tough guy’ persona in Loach’s 1967 film Poor Cow, which served as a springboard for subsequent roles in iconic British films of the era, Performance, Get Carter & Quadrophenia.
