About This Show

Rooted in Greek Mythology, the play follows two narrators dressed as farmers, that tell the story of Demeter losing her daughter Persephone to the underworld for half of the year, thus creating the Seasons.

The characters are puppets that are bought to life by the narrators. The piece includes audience interaction and music! The set is a large sensory textured backdrop made from recycled fabrics, each quarter depicting a different Season, plus set pieces including Mount Olympus and The Underworld. All set and props are made from recycled and second-hand materials. Puppet Design by Hannah Williams.
