About the Show
UK Premiere. Heralding the advent of Spring, a young girl is chosen to dance herself to death as part of an ancient ceremony. Accompanied by live violin, percussion, piano and a gospel singer, Masilo and her dancers deliver an exhilarating performance mixing contemporary dance with the rhythmic and expressive movements of Tswana, Botswana’s traditional dance.
