Company Wayne McGregor returns to Sadler’s Wells to present Wayne McGregor’s Deepstaria , a highly sensory, meditative pure dance and acoustic experience which reflects on our profound relationship with the void and our own mortality. Utilising Vantablack Vision® technology on stage to create unfathomable darkness, disturbing traditional hierarchies of perception. In this void, acoustic imagery and animative music by Oscar-winning sound designer Nicolas Becker and renowned music producer LEXX create a sonic dreamscape that is continuously recomposed as it is performed using revolutionary AI technology. Sir Wayne McGregor CBE is a Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist, and one of the most acclaimed and influential choreographers working today.
