Charmian Hughes – Bra Trek

A storytelling stand-up comedy show about fitting in, standing out and becoming ourselves. Who taught us to be us? Sensible parents, sensitive teachers, supportive friends? Or paranoid mothers who think the War’s still on, teachers who believe even breathing is showing off, and friends who delight in giving you a terrible self-image? Just me then! If the only thing that distinguishes a winner from a loser is what we were told about yourself as a child, can we rewrite that? And if life is like a bra, can we ever find comfort, support and a point? In a comedy show bristling with ideas, Charmian boldly goes in search of the connections, the answers and the bras.
