UK Premiere. Ballet du Grand Theatre de Geneve premieres Outsider in the UK as part of Dance Reflections, in this exploration of the similarities and connections between extreme sports and dance. Twenty dancers share the stage with four extreme sport athletes, moving effortlessly between high wires and slack lines. Outsider is set to composer Julius Eastman’s hypnotic music, played on four pianos, while choreographer Rachid Ouramdane has the company showcase minimalistic movement all while perched perilously in the air.
