89 Nights: An Original Musical tells a coming of age story. Alice, our British protagonist, arrives in New York, fresh out of school, full of na?ve hope and imagination of what the next 89 nights (the length of her ESTA visa) will be like. She is away from home and family and everything that defined her identity for the first time in her life. This is an emotional commentary about growing up, being the stranger in the room and living each day in the moment. Through humour, song, laughter and wit, the company are looking for the answer to a pessimistic question ?if you know when it’s going to end then what’s the point in starting?’.
