Formed in 1996 by one of Britain’s foremost colleges for the performing arts, London Studio Centre’s Jazz Dance Company provides performing and touring experience for its final year students specialising in Jazz Theatre Dance. Many members of the company have had extensive professional experience in the commercial theatre.
Jazz Dance Company’s ICONIC tour is an epic celebration of current & historical movements, moments & figures: exploring a world of idols from Elvis Presley to Michael Jackson, Dali to Da Vinci, Ginger Rogers to Gene Kelly and many more. Serious, satirical or sassy, the Jazz Dance Company showcase styles from Hip Hop, Commercial and Contemporary to Music Theatre, Tap, Technical and Lyrical Jazz, presenting a show that is diverse, entertaining, vibrant and bursting with attitude. Featuring dancers from prestigious professional training school, London Studio Centre, with dance created by leading choreographers from stage and screen.
