Afro Celt Sound System

Afro Celt Sound System formed more than 20 years ago when Simon Emmerson brought a group of musicians from the UK and Africa to Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios. Since then, they have released a “trail-blazing” (PopMatters) fusion of African and Celtic music, bringing together “an irresistible blend of rhythms and lilting spirituality aimed equally at the head, heart and feet” (BBC Music).
