In 2045 environmental activist Jen runs away from reality and uploads her consciousness to the internet. Leaving her physical body forever. She’s rudely awoken from digital limbo 100 years later by Stella, an uptight AI, to make tough decisions about her existence. Bringing Jen back from the void into a virtual space, Stella engages with her. They travel to different places, past and present, visiting Jen’s lost relationships to understand who she was and all she could be. Stella morphs into the other people Jen knows as they revisit her past. This will be a journey through virtual and real spaces with moments of absurdity, sadness, betrayal, and hope.
