Fisherman’s Friends

About the Show

The original sole men, Cornwall’s tightest band of brothers and its best-known musical export, the Fisherman’s Friends are heading back on the road. The group of old friends first came together in a sitting room in Port Isaac late in 1990, since then there have been ten albums, a BBC Folk Award, a best selling book, TV documentary and prestigious performances from Hyde Park Proms in the Park and 80,000 rugby fans at Twickenham… all while holding down day jobs. Expect a trademark catch of sea shanties and maritime work songs from a repertoire of almost 200 titles as the Fisherman’s Friends return to sing for their supper.
