Anna-Helena McLeanA Voice Lesson (Orla Descends)

Following a Residency at Snape Maltings, Anna-Helena McLean presents a split-stage, immersive music theatre performance which combines the story of women spanning 4000 years. This work-in-progress follows the story of Nin, a 12-year-old who is overwhelmed by the world outside, but also aspires to be a performer one day. She goes on a journey to look for her authentic voice and makes unlikely friends on the way. The multimedia performance culminates with an interactive sound-art installation opening up the magical inner workings of the creative process for everyone to try for themselves.
