We chat to the cast and guests including Claire Sweeney and Daniel Boys
Following his productions of Titanic and Grand Hotel, director Thom Southerland completes his Maury Yeston hat trick with his production of Death Takes a Holiday.
We went down to the Charing Cross Theatre to speak with the cast and guests after the official opening performance.
The European premiere of Yeston, Thomas Meehan and Peter Stone's musical features Zoë Doano (Les Miserables) and Chris Peluso (Miss Saigon) and is based on the 1928 Italian play of the same name, which also inspired the movie Meet Joe Black, starring Brad Pitt.
Set in northern Italy, just after World War One, Death disguises himself as a handsome young prince to try to understand why life is so precious and death so feared.
