The ”Kinky Boots” star takes us backstage to find out which items he couldn’t live without
Matt Henry is currently starring as Lola in Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre. His previous theatre credits include Avenue Q (Noel Coward Theatre and UK tour), Miss Saigon (UK tour) and Saturday Night Fever (Apollo Theatre).
We caught up with Matt to find out which six things he couldn't live without in his dressing room.
MH: With the amount of glitter used in this show you will not be surprised that it gets EVERYWHERE! No amount of washing helps. The lint roller was the genius idea of my company manager. I haven't looked back.
MH: I'm a big kid at heart that loves gadgets and this is the best it gets. After getting most of my make up off at the end of the night, this bad boy helps to finish off the job.
MH: All used as part of my physical warm up before the show. Favourite has to be the yellow spiky ball. Can be used for massaging achy muscles, especially my feet after dancing in heels.
MH: A cheeky Herbal tea at the interval always makes me happy. I'm building up quite a collection.
MH: Every performer needs fans and these beauts are mine. Playing a woman isn't easy when you sweat like a man.
MH: Glycerine throat spray is the 'entertainers secret' that I'm now sharing with you. It was first given to me by Cyndi Lauper 'Its what they all use' she said. So I use it and it helps!
