The US audience for The Lion King was certainly feeling the love the night Top Gun star Tom Cruise jetted in to make a guest appearance, alongside The Late Late Show host and Tony winner James Corden, in Disney’s live musical juggernaut.
With “limited or next to no theatrical experience”, will it be “Mission: Impossible” or “Hakuna Matata” for the Hollywood icon? Find out how Cruise got on in the video below:
Disney’s The Lion King continues its open-ended run at the Lyceum Theatre in the West End and is currently in Sunderland on its UK and Ireland tour, with further stops scheduled for Bristol, Birmingham and Dublin.
