The courtroom drama is back

Bill Kenwright Ltd has announced a new UK tour of Twelve Angry Men, beginning at Theatre Royal Windsor on 3 September 2026.
The production stars Gray O’Brien, Bill Ward, Ricky Norwood, Tristan Gemmill and Ben Nealon.
Written by Reginald Rose, the courtroom drama follows a jury deliberating the fate of a young man accused of murdering his father. What initially appears to be a straightforward case becomes increasingly complex as the jurors confront their own prejudices and assumptions.

The production is directed by Christopher Haydon, with associate direction by Tim Welton, design by Michael Pavelka, lighting design by Chris Davey and sound design by Andy Graham.
David Gilbery, CEO of the Bill Kenwright Group, described the play as “one of the greatest courtroom dramas ever written” and “a true masterclass in suspense and storytelling”.
The tour opens at Windsor Theatre Royal from 3 to 6 September before visiting His Majesty’s Theatre in Aberdeen from 15 to 19 September, Birmingham Rep from 21 to 26 September, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford from 29 September to 3 October, Darlington Hippodrome from 6 to 10 October, Wycombe Swan in High Wycombe from 13 to 17 October and Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham from 20 to 24 October.
